The Speed Channel, usually relegated to the upper-hundreds on the cable-channel spectrum, is launching a new broadband channel on the Internet. Speed2 will only be available to current Speed subscribers and will have at least a dozen race series that normally don't make it to the TV channel. When Frans van Haren, a Dutch car collector, bought a rare 1935 Mercedes 500 K Roadster at RM Auctions Montery sale last year he knew there was no declared history prior to 1970. Even so, he paid almost $4 million for the car.

This is the new Chevrolet Volt MPV5 concept car – shown off at the 2010 Beijing auto show this week. It's also a thinly veiled look at next year's crossover MPV to move Chevy into more family focused territories.But the Volt MPV5 looks just like the Orlando concept car!Good spot. The Orlando show car was shown at the Paris 2008 expo and this is, bar a few show-off details, the production iteration.
